EXPOForest

Forest Management Fair

18 - 20 September 2020

Due to the current epidemiological situation caused by the spread of corona virus and the latest recommendations of the Main Sanitary Inspectorate concerning the organization of events, we kindly inform you that after consultation with the industry, the Forestry Fairs EXPOForest, scheduled for 8th to 10th May 2020, are postponed to 18th to 20th September 2020.

The difficult decision to postpone the events was made out of concern for the health of fair exhibitors and visitors. We will spare no effort to ensure that the trade fairs planned for the new date will be successful for all participants.

We hope that the decision to postpone the fair will be understood.

Forest Management Fair EXPOForest is the only event of this kind in southern Poland. Nowadays, due to scientific and technological progress, all elements of forest management become much more efficient without affecting values of forest lands. New opportunities for development used by industry companies, which are presented at EXPOForest, not only guarantee the competitiveness on the market, but also increase safety and comfort of work.

Our event is a discussion platform combining the possibility to exchange information, experiences and development plans of the industry and the opportunity to establish promising business contacts. For three days Expo Silesia will become a place for meetings of specialists, among others, wood industry employees and foresters – representatives of the industries which closely cooperate with each other in timber use and harvesting. Since the event is held in the Silesian Voivodeship where the development of the industry has strongly affected - and still affects - the forest management, it will be an incentive to focus on the issues which are the most relevant to the sector.

We will invite to participate in the Fair:

  • employees of the State Forests, in particular Directors of Regional Directorate of State Forests, forest managers and directors of national parks
  • Forestry Services Companies
  • Forest Rangers
  • Forestry Transportation Centres
  • forestry maintenance companies
